General Event Information
Until recently, we only offerered advanced education classes to Massage Therapists and professionals in the health field. Our clients have expressed a healthy desire to learn more self-care techniques. Family members and our extended family of co-workers, fellow students and friends can benefit from preventative health management. We have begun to make classes available for the benefit of the smallest and newest individual.

*Child Soothing Class for New Mothers- Join Birthblessings Doula Services July 15th at 11am to learn how to better soothe your crying baby. Learn 1)All babies cry but most new parents have little experience soothing them. 2)The basic problem is many babies are born three months too soon. 3)The calming reflex is nature's off switch for a crying baby. 4) The 5 "S's" to turn on your baby's calming reflex. 5)The cuddle cure combining the 5 "S's" to help any fussy baby. We will be using Dr. Harvey Karp's video and book. Babies are welcome. Snacks will be served. There will be no charge, but donations are welcome! For mnore information call (210)415-1454.
*We have a new series of Self Care Workshops for the Licensed Massage Therapist taught by Joy Bernstein. Self Care Workshops are for anyone who is interested in practicing a harmonious life style. Classes will begin in May. Check our Class Schedule for more information.
*Check out our new Aromatherapy Basics Classes with our Registered Aromatherapist, Kim Krost. This class is available for CE credits for Massage Therapists and is also open to the public.
Meeting Space at the Institute
One of the long-term goals of our Institute has been to avail our facility to the community as a healthy place to hold classes, meetings, study groups, special events and public service classes.We have a lovely meeting room that can comfortably accomodate 15 – 20 people.
