Continuing Education Credits.
Our massage continuing education course classes in Texas provide continuing education credit for a number of organizations that require practitioners to maintain and improve their massage and bodywork skills. These include but are not limited to:
Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS)
Our Texas continuing education course classes can be applied to the Texas DSHS requirement of 6 hours per year. Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP)
Our Texas massage continuing education classes satisfy ABMP continuing education requirements. Certified members are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education credit every two years in order to maintain their Certified status. All of the massage therapists at the Integrative Healing Institute are members of ABMP. For more information: www.abmp.com
American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA)
The AMTA requires 48 clock hours of continuing education every 4 years for their Active Professional Members from responsible sponsors. The Integrative Healing Institute’s massage continuing education course classes in Texas satisfy this requirement. For more information: www.amtamassage.org. National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)
NCBTMB require 50 hours of continuing education every 4 years. All of classes taught by Barry Krost are approved. ncbtmb.com
